Podcast: Database assessment, e-trials

We throw lots of useful info your way. You can go for the HARD KNOWLEDGE or linger around the lighter stuff. The changes to the new Website are well-worth giving a listen to, and the database assessment tool will be of interest to anyone spending hours wondering if they're "in the right place" when seeking citations and articles. All databases are not born equal. The timeline breaks down like so:

0:00 - 2: 28 Intro (longer than usual but we had to give props to the new Audio Studio in the School of Public Health. It's so state of the art I thought I was in a new state).

2:28 - 9:50  Discussion of the New WelchWeb (Links, Department Guides, Book Delivery) and new E-Trials available through the Welch Library.

9:50 - 12:24 How does the Academic Database Assessment Tool work.

12:24 - 15:55 The Welch Library "Burn Calories Not Gas!" Bike Ride, coming in May.

Hope you enjoy it as much as Victoria Goode and I enjoy making it!
