Using Dynamed's Practice Changing Updates

Dynamed is designed for use at the point of care, providing the best available evidence for use at the bedside to help diagnose, treat, and educate patients. It is updated daily and has over 3,200 clinical topic summaries.

A helpful feature of Dynamed is "Practice Changing Updates." These are updates that occur when new evidence has been published to change how you would diagnose or treat a disease or disorder. They are sorted by specialty and you can create an email alert for whenever the specialty page is updated. The link to Dynamed is located under the "Popular Resources" section of the Welch webpage. You can find the "Practice Changing Updates" feature by clicking on "Recent Updates" within Dynamed:

From there, check the box next to "Practice Changing Updates Only" towards the right hand side of the page:

Take a moment to try out this feature. If you have any questions, contact your assigned informationists!
