If you have recently submitted an article to be published, you probably were asked to provide a list of keywords that represent the topic of your article. The National Library of Medicine provides resources to help authors who are interested in selecting MeSH descriptors as key words for their article. MeSH terms are assigned to every citation in PubMed and used to help searchers find all articles on a specific subject. By choosing MeSH terms as keyword terms to represent your article, it will further streamline the ability of searchers to find your article.
