NIH Public Access Policy

The NIH Public Access Policy subject guide was recently updated on our Welch Library page. You may find new information to assist with your grant process. As an example, by clicking on the “Monitoring Compliance” tab you can watch a short video that shows the ways in which “My Bibliography” allows researchers to view the compliance status of their publications and link funding sources to citations.

Also from our main NIH subject guide page, take a look at the four submission methods. And take a minute to review “After Submission to PMC.” You don’t want to spend all your valuable time putting your grant together and then mistakenly confusing the PubMed Central ID (PMCID) with the PubMed ID (PMID).

As we all know, it’s always the little (and often not-so-little) details that can trip us up. Of course, if you have any questions or need assistance please contact the Welch Informationist for your Department.
